Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Prayer and Service

Co-sponsored by the Synod Racial Justice Team, the Synod LGBTQ Task Force, and the Metropolitan Community Church of the Lehigh Valley, this event will bring people together to honor the legacy of the great civil rights leader. We will begin at 10:00am in the sanctuary for worship, hosted by MCC and led by Brian Jones, Minister for Music & Worship. This will be followed by opportunities to participate in various service projects, and conclude with lunch together.

If you are off that day and would like to help at this event, please register to ensure we have an accurate headcount for lunch.

"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve"

Matthew 20:28

Following the worship service, there will be various service projects suitable for all ages. Below are the details of some of the projects that will take place at the event.
