On Saturday mornings something special is happening. As part of the feeding ministry of 6261 “Pretzel City Parish” of Reading, our congregations decided to try something new. Using seed money from a financial gift from an anonymous donor, something we are calling the Hospitality Center was born.

May 5 is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Women, Girls, & Relatives (MMIWGR), a time to raise awareness, support impacted families and communities, and address the causes of this ongoing crisis. The ELCA Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Taskforce has created a toolkit to help individuals and ministry groups learn more and participate.
