Discover how volunteer chaplains, shared ministry, and Mission Support strengthen the connection between Bear Creek Camp and the NEPA Synod. Through faith formation, relationships, and partnerships that reach beyond camp, these connections help create meaningful ministry for campers, congregations, and communities.

NEPA Synod Director of Communications Stacey Burke joined communicators representing 20 ELCA synods and the churchwide organization in Pittsburgh July 28–29 for two days of continuing education, collaboration, relationship building, and peer support.

On Saturday, October 3, congregational teams are invited to learn how to use The Generosity Project in their own ministry settings. The training models three one-hour sessions centered on God's story of creation, equipping participants to lead the program in their congregations.

Roughly 400 Churchwide employees, including those based in Chicago and those deployed (like Directors for Evangelical Mission (DEM) and global missionaries), gathered for a retreat July 20-23 at the Q-Center in St. Charles, Illinois.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Dingmans Ferry spent June living out the theme, "We Are One," through a youth camping trip, leadership training, and Vacation Bible Camp. Together, youth, volunteers, and families grew in faith while serving and building community.

A simple trip to Niagara Falls became something much more: a journey marked by unexpected hospitality, breathtaking moments in creation, shared worship, and friendships that grew across generations and congregations.
