6261 Ministry Leadership Bundle Days bring rostered ministers and LLMs together from across the NEPA Synod to form relationships with one another and to equip them as leaders of transformation and collaboration as they live into this new model.  6261 Ministry Leadership Bundle Days are for any pastor, deacon, LLM, or other key leader of a congregation who is serving in a Covenanted 6261 Ministry Community or a congregation who is a part of the 6261 Exploration Process discerning forming a 6261 Ministry Community with their congregation(s).  Together, they form a "cohort" of leaders living into this new - yet old - way of being Church together for the sake of our neighbors and the Good News of Jesus Christ.

What is a Bundle Day?

Each 6261 Bundle Day provides 3 key things:

1) opportunity for your particular Bundle to build relationships and skills together 2) Bundles to share and learn from one another and 3) gain insights and practical tools to help you with your next step of building and living into your 6261 Ministry Community.

Who are Bundle Days for?

If you are already serving in a 6261 Ministry Community, these Bundle Days are for you! If you and/or your congregation(s) are discerning joining or forming a 6261 Ministry Community, these Bundle Days are for you!

What else do I need to know?

Bundle Days work best when everyone comes ready to participate, share their experience with others, ask questions, and be open to the movement of the Holy Spirit.

Goals

  • Leading and guiding others to understand and develop Christ-centered community core values, mission, and vision that are embedded across all that happens in each of the congregations in your 6261 Ministry Community
  • Deeper personal and vocational self-awareness and understanding, utilizing the Enneagram and Strength Finders
  • Team building, multi-staff leadership, and building up LLMs so that each person plays to their gifts, strengths, and passion
  • Collegial partnerships that lead to expanded community and congregational partnerships
  • Mobilizing congregants through contemplative, spiritual practices
  • Riding the waves of cultural transformation as your congregations and 6261 Ministry Community makes the shift
  • Not adding to your workload - instead, gaining strength and capacity by collaboration - and replicating this at the 6261 Ministry Community level

Cost

The cost of the 6261 Bundle Days is supported by the Synod and outside grants, such as the CaSTLE Grant, so all you need to do is show up!   Mileage is typically covered by the 6261 Ministry Community or congregation(s).  If that is a burden to your participation, please reach out to Deacon Kat Tigerman to explore alternative funding options

Schedule

6261 Bundle Days are held quarterly, typically running from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm.   Bundle Days are hosted at a NEPA congregation to reduce cost and make single-day commuting feasible.  The location rotates around the Synod, trying to remain as centrally located as possible, to take into consideration the travel distance as leaders are traveling from all corners of the Synod.
