Upcoming Boundary & Racial Justice Trainings

All Northeastern PA Synod rostered leaders (pastors, deacons, licensed lay ministers, and synodically-authorized lay leaders) are required to have Anti-Racism and Boundary Training at least once every three years. 

 

ULS Toward Racial Justice Training

September 14th & 15th, online from 6 - 8:30pm (one training, two nights)

October 13th - Gettysburg Campus, in person (10am -3pm)

November 10th - online (10am-3pm)

 

ULS Boundary Training

September 21st & 22nd, online from 6 - 8:30pm (one training, two nights)

October 6th- Gettysburg Campus, in person (10am -3pm)

November 11th online (10am - 3pm)

Mission District Assemblies

Each of the nine Mission Districts in the NEPA Synod holds its own Mission District Assembly, where local congregations gather for ministry discussions and important business. Anyone from the area of each Mission District is welcome to attend.

Pre-Assembly Info Session

This pre-assembly session is designed to train, inform, and prepare Voting Members for the work they will do at Synod Assembly.

2026 Synod Assembly

The NEPA Synod Assembly, on June 4-6, is our synod’s annual gathering where pastors, deacons, and lay voting members come together to worship, learn, discern, and make decisions that guide our shared ministry. This year’s Assembly will also include the election of our next bishop.

“We Are Listening” Ministry Discernment Retreat

A 2-day discernment retreat for those exploring God’s call in their lives. Participants will engage in small group conversation, hear from a panel of ministry leaders, and spend time in prayer, worship, and reflection.
