Honoring Decades of Ministry
A Celebration of Rostered Ministers' Anniversaries
We are thrilled to share the joyous occasion of our Anniversary Celebration Luncheon and Ceremony for Rostered Ministers, which took place on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at the Miller Moyer Hall on the campus of Muhlenberg College in Allentown.
This special event honored rostered ministers who celebrated significant anniversaries in 2024, marking 15, 25, 40, 50, 55, 60, and 65 years since their consecration or ordination. Each of these ministers, accompanied by a guest, gathered for an afternoon filled with remembrance, celebration, prayer, story-telling, and thanksgiving to God for their dedicated years of ministry.
The celebration was hosted by Bishop Christopher deForest, alongside the Deans of our Synod Mission Districts. Together, they curated a heartfelt program that included opportunities for the honorees to share their personal stories and reflections on their ministry journeys.
We give thanks to God for their life-giving work and for the opportunity to celebrate these remarkable milestones together.
