“We Are Listening” Ministry Discernment Retreat
June 13-14, 2026
Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center
29 Pleasant Grove Road,
Port Murray, NJ 07865
Join us June 13th – 14th, for a 2-day retreat that explores how God is calling you in ministry and explores how we might better listen to that call. What does it mean for God to give us a calling in life? How do we discover in what ways the Holy Spirit might be leading us?
There will be time for discerning your call both individually and together in small groups. We will spend time learning about the ministries of the Church to which the Lord might be calling us. We will be able to talk to a panel of Pastors, Deacons, Licensed Lay Ministers, Chaplains, and those involved with the processes to become a candidate in any of those ministry callings. There will also be time for prayer, worship, renewal, and spiritual contemplation.
We will gather at Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center, just across the border in Port Murray, NJ. The cost of the retreat includes one night of lodging and 4 meals. Thanks to the support of a Castle Grant from Wartburg Seminary, the cost of the retreat is only $55 per person. To allow for the nature of discernment support, there are only 25 spots available for this retreat. Registration closes June 1st.
