Hungry for the Word: Walking Together through the Sundays after Pentecost
The NEPA Synod is continuing to work in partnership with the Virginia Synod to develop resources to support the daily life and ministry of congregations. The resources for this summer will invite congregations to dive deeper into the revised common lectionary texts between Sunday, May 31 and Reformation Sunday, October 25.
The resources are broken down into four series of 5 weeks each, built around a theme. You can use all four series. You can use one of the series or you can pick and choose any number. You can also simply pull resources to enhance your current plans for this season of the church year. Each series has:
- An overall theme tied to the 5-weeks of Scripture
- Prompts for actively diving into and collectively engaging the Scripture text during the sermon time
- Resources for engaging God, one another, and the community throughout the 5 weeks
Save-the-date for a 45-minute Zoom session on Tuesday, May 12th at 7:00 pm for a deeper overview of the series and time to answer questions.
