On October 18th and 19th NEPA Synod Licensed Lay Minister Candidates gathered for the Worship and Sacrament retreat, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Reading.

For some the incredible journey is just beginning, while for the original candidates this retreat was bittersweet as our last retreat together.

The experience has been an incredible and uplifting one. The focus on this retreat was Worship and Sacrament. We explored many different Worship settings, and options before diving deep into the administration of the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.

I personally returned with a feeling of excitement and renewal. Together with my mentor Pastor, Rev. Cindy White, I will be putting together a Prayer and Healing service like the one that took place at the retreat.
