Email scams targeting churches are becoming more sophisticated, often appearing to come from trusted leaders, synod staff, or familiar congregation contacts. This article shares a real example from within our synod and offers practical ways to recognize and respond to suspicious messages before harm is done.
On Friday and Saturday (October 10 and 11), area congregations came together to bring their donations of Quilts and Kits to the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod office for transport to the Lutheran World Relief warehouse.
