The Schuylkill Mission District is offering a program on Sunday, November 9, about church cemeteries and other issues related to church real estate. This event is open to anyone interested and will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 252 Dock St, Schuylkill Haven.

This article shares a real example from within our synod and offers practical ways to recognize and respond to suspicious messages before harm is done.
On Friday and Saturday (October 10 and 11), area congregations came together to bring their donations of Quilts and Kits to the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod office for transport to the Lutheran World Relief warehouse. Along the way, we stopped in Reading to pick up donations from several Berks County churches.
