Event Overview
Ziegels Union Church congregations, Ziegels Lutheran congregation and Ziegel UCC congregation, hold an annual Harvest Home Festival the second Saturday of September to collect fresh produce for Lowhill Food Pantry. The food collected then becomes part of the Harvest Home worship service the next day.
So this year, Harvest Home Festival will be held September 12 from 4-7pm and then the donated food will become part of the display for blessing at the Harvest Home services on September 13 at 8:30 am (Lutheran Service) and 11:05 am (UCC Service). The food is then delivered to the food pantry for their third week Wednesday and Thursday serving days.

Participant Information
Is the project open to others outside your congregation?
Yes. All are welcome to come to the Harvest Home Festival and to bring fresh produce from gardens or local farms.
Do participants need to register ahead of time?
No
Are there age restrictions or family-friendly considerations?
No
What should participants bring?
Fresh produce donations and picnic chairs to sit in the grove and listen to the band.
What will be provided by the congregation or host site?
Music, refreshments, raffle baskets
Will there be a worship component tied to this day?
