Event Overview
Zion Lehigh ELCA is collecting gently used clothing to support individuals experiencing homelessness through Neighborhood House in Allentown. Donations of women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing can be dropped off at Zion Lehigh through August 16. The congregation will celebrate the collection with outdoor worship at Lockridge Furnace Park in Alburtis on August 30, followed by a covered-dish picnic.

Is the project open to others outside your congregation?
Yes. Need to drop off gently used clothing in bags marked "women", "men" or "children" at Zion Lehigh ELCA (610-395-1215) by August 16 or during worship 9-10 am Sundays.
Are there age restrictions or family-friendly considerations?
No
What will be provided by the congregation or host site?
Hot dogs, hamburgers, paper products and beverages provided after worship at 10 am at the celebration of collection event on August 30 at Lockridge Furnace Park in Alburtis.
