A group of pastors and deacons in the Pocono Mission District is exploring how congregations might support individuals living in their cars, partnering with synod leadership to better understand needs and resources.
The NEPA Synod’s “Gaining Strength” Cohorts continue to equip pastors and deacons for more vital, collaborative ministry. Now entering its fourth cohort, this initiative brings leaders together for connection, renewal, and shared learning, helping them strengthen both their own leadership and their congregations.
Through a Witness & Service Grant, Pastor Kim Truebenbach launched the Condemned Happy podcast, creating a space for honest conversations about faith, healing, and hope.
Stacey Burke will now serve as Director of Communications for the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod. In this role, she will continue to oversee synod communications, branding, and digital strategy.
