Organist/Choir Director (4/8) - Our progressive, historical church is looking for a part-time Organist/Choir Director for our mid-sized congregation in the Allentown area. This position includes provision of music for one weekly Sunday worship, and funerals and weddings as well. Expertise with organ and piano performance is required. The applicant would be responsible for directing the vocal music ministry, including rehearsals and provision of an anthem on Sundays. The Organist/Choir Director would work in conjunction with a Wind Ensemble and Bell Choir, both of which are directed by others, as well as our Worship and Music Committee. An understanding of Christian liturgical music is needed, with the ability to incorporate both traditional and contemporary music styles. Leadership skills to grow and sustain a thriving music ministry, and the ability to work with staff and volunteers are a plus. P/T Director of Music (3/24) - St Peter’s Lutheran Church (1422 Church Rd, Pen Argyl, PA 18072) is seeking a part-time Director of Music. This candidate will coordinate the music life of our community in coordination with the Pastor and Worship & Music Committee, direct our choir(s) in rehearsal and worship, and lead our worship’s musical life as an organist and pianist for two Sunday morning services as well as special services throughout the year (Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Christmas Eve, etc.) Expectations are for approximately 20-25 hours/week, with salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications upon hiring. Qualifications include prior work experience, proficiency in playing organ, piano, and keyboard, and strong choral conducting skills. Candidates should also have familiarity with executing a variety of musical genres and the ability to incorporate them in a worship setting, possess excellent communication, planning, and executive skills, and show commitment to the mission and values of the Christian church and the larger work of the E.L.C.A. Director of Youth and Family Ministry (2/18) - Trinity Lutheran Church in Kutztown is looking for a full-time Youth Director. Church Secretary (2/18) - St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church (417 N. 7th Street, Allentown, PA 18102), a center-city church with traditional Lutheran roots and an active outreach ministry, is seeking a permanent, part-time Administrative Assistant.

Position requires computer proficiency with Word, Excel and managing files. Familiarity with Church Windows software is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Responsibilities include preparing weekly and monthly congregational documents, handling calls and correspondence, cooperating with staff and congregation, and assisting with facilities management.
