Part-time Director of Music/Organist (3/10) - Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bechtelsville is seeking Part-time Director of Music/Organist to nurture the spiritual growth of the congregation through leadership in worship and musical ministry. Organist (3/3) - St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, a growing congregation in Pennsburg, PA, is seeking an Organist to nurture the spiritual growth of the congregation through leadership in worship and musical ministries. Responsibilities include providing solo performance, choir accompaniment, and leading liturgical music and hymns. St. Mark’s sanctuary boasts excellent acoustics and a 28 rank pipe organ built by Patrick J. Murphy in 2000. The instrument has been featured in the AGO magazine. The congregation also features a Baldwin grand piano. The overall music program of the church is strong, and musicianship is appreciated. The congregation hosts the Valley Choral Society concerts, and participates in "Make Music Upper Perk". A week of Summer Music Camp is offered for children. The compensation is competitive. Organist and Choir Director (2/24) - Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville (Allen Township), is seeking applicants for an Organist and Choir Director. Approximately 15-20 hours per week. The right candidate would be responsible for playing at one Sunday service weekly and would work with a dedicated adult choir with weekly rehearsals. We welcome someone with experience conducting a hand bell choir. Director of Music Ministry/Organist (2/24) - Ziegels Union Church in Breinigsville, PA is actively seeking a part-time Director of Music Ministry/organist whose role is to foster the congregations’ spiritual enrichment through diverse Christian music by accompanying and leading the liturgy, hymns, and other musical offerings during two Sunday liturgy worship services. Weekly hours may vary seasonally dependent upon Christian calendar of celebrations and summer schedule of worship services. The pews from The Lutheran Center are available to congregations until September 15, after which they will be made available to the general public. Removal from the current location at The Lutheran Center, 2354 Grove Rd, Allentown is the responsibility and expense of the requesting congregation. Standard and seat pews are on the main level of the building with no stairs. The choir loft pews are up one floor and require removal via stairway (photo here). Questions and requests should be submitted to eric@nepsynod.org and include the name of requestor, congregation, quantity and style/size requested.
