  Pastor Christopher deForest has been elected bishop of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod. He will be the fifth bishop of our synod, and his term of office begins on January 1, 2021. Chris is pastor at Trinity, Kutztown. Ordained in 2011, he served at St. John, Mahoning (Lehighton) until 2018. Previous to entering the Ministry
