In 2026, Learning Ministry Day expands into three half-day events across the synod, each featuring three speakers who will explore timely themes that support worship, faith formation, and ministry.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Prayer 2026

Co-sponsored by the Synod Racial Justice Team, the Synod LGBTQ Task Force, and the Metropolitan Community Church of the Lehigh Valley, this event will bring people together to honor the legacy of the great civil rights leader.

2026 Synod Assembly

The NEPA Synod Assembly, on June 4-6, is our synod’s annual gathering where pastors, deacons, and lay voting members come together to worship, learn, discern, and make decisions that guide our shared ministry. This year’s Assembly will also include the election of our next bishop.

Generosity Extravaganza 2026

Join us for the 2026 Generosity Extravaganza, Engaging Generosity: A Roadmap for Vitality, a one-day event equipping congregations to inspire joyful giving, deepen discipleship, and energize mission-focused ministry. Sponsored by the NEPA and SEPA Synods, this gathering offers practical tools, worship, and workshops to help your congregation thrive.

Church Cemeteries & Other Property Issues

The Schuylkill Mission District is offering a program on Sunday, November 9, about church cemeteries and other issues related to church real estate. This event is open to anyone interested and will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 252 Dock St, Schuylkill Haven.
