Imagine the difference we can make together!

Please let us know the areas you are interested in volunteering. Assembly team will review and connect as assembly comes closer.

  • Registration & Credentials – Greet attendees, provide name tags, verify credentials, and assist with check-in. Volunteers should be organized and comfortable interacting with people.

  • Hospitality/Ushers – Welcome attendees, provide directions, and create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Volunteers should be friendly, approachable, and ready to assist with general inquiries.

  • Election Counters – Assist with the business portion of the meeting, including tallying votes, distributing ballots, and ensuring a smooth election process. Volunteers should be detail-oriented and comfortable handling confidential information.
    • This year’s Synod Assembly voting will be conducted using paper ballots, which means additional volunteers will be needed to help distribute, collect, and count the ballots.

We need a dedicated group of counters to tally the election results, particularly for the first and second ballots. It is best if counters are not voting members at the assembly.

  • Worship Set Up / Take Down– Assist in setting up worship spaces, arranging materials, and ensuring all elements are in place for worship services and properly returned once complete. Volunteers should be attentive to detail and able to follow setup instructions.

  • Event Take Down – Assist with cleaning up and packing away materials after the event concludes. Volunteers should be able to lift and move materials and follow cleanup instructions.
