Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in Pennsylvania (LAMPa) is searching for a program director to be based in our Harrisburg-area office. The program director is responsible for the coordination and communication of the Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in Pennsylvania (LAMPa) statewide action network, working with the seven synods and Lutheran ministries throughout Pennsylvania, as well as ELCA Churchwide partners, particularly World Hunger.  The primary objective is to educate and resource the Lutheran community in Pennsylvania to be a public church as we work to alleviate poverty and hunger. P/T Piano Player (7-26)
St. Paul, Tannersville is seeking a talented and collaborative individual to fulfill the role of Accompanist in our music program. The ideal individual will have a minimum of five (5) years experience working in the field of music and should be a proficient pianist. This position entails attendance at one evening rehearsal and one Sunday worship service from September through May (the program year) as well as Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday and Holy Week services. Additionally, the successful candidate will be called upon to provide service music in the absence of the Director of Music. In total, the Accompanist shall be utilized for no more than forty (40) weeks during the year. Attendance at rehearsal and/or service will not be required during the remaining twelve (12) weeks. P/T Organist/Music Director/Director of Choirs (5-24)
St. Paul, Telford seeks to hire an accomplished organist separately from the Music Director/Director of Choirs position (or any combination). If you are interested in the position of organist or Music Director or Director of Choirs please apply. Hours/salary will depend on what combination of role(s) are being filled. Responsibilities include: Music director—Overseeing music program and coordinating music for the season of the church year in conjunction with the Senior Pastor; Director of Choirs—choosing appropriate anthems for the season, coordinating with Music Director and Senior pastor and directing Chancel Choir, Cherub Choir and Red Angels Choir; Organist—providing suitable organ and piano music for all worship services and choir rehearsals; accompaniment for choirs, soloists and instrumental groups; and assisting in planning of the worship service music. There is also an opportunity to direct a bell choir.  Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in music or credentials of formal music training; accomplished organist with ability to accompany choral groups and congregational singing.  Accomplished pianist preferred. Must be available for choir rehearsals, worship services, and other events as needed. Salary is competitive.
